Chef and kitchen operations

Practical kitchen and operational support from an experienced second pair of eyes.

Support for independent pubs, restaurants and hotels when an owner or chef is working through a change, developing into a role or wants an experienced view of a particular challenge.

Discuss your business

Understand the kitchen before changing it

The first task is to understand the business, the team and what is already working. Support can then stay tightly focused on a defined issue or develop into a wider operational review where that is genuinely useful.

  • Supporting a Head Chef developing into the role
  • Helping an established Head Chef with a particular challenge
  • Menu reviews against the available team and equipment
  • Prep, production, ordering and stock systems
  • Kitchen procedures and responsibilities
  • Openings, changes and operational reviews
  • Additional practical leadership where agreed

A menu and systems that work in practice

Reviews consider the menu commercially and operationally: the available skills and equipment, preparation, service volume, purchasing, waste and the people realistically available on shift. The aim is to keep what works and simplify only where there is a clear benefit.

Support for owners and existing chefs

PPH works alongside owners and kitchen teams, adding experience and capacity without assuming everything needs to change. Profit Point Hospitality is not a recruitment agency and does not promise to supply temporary or permanent chefs.

On-site and remote kitchen consultancy

Kitchen operations advisory is arranged according to the needs of each business. Menu, recipe-costing, process, document and follow-up work can be delivered remotely where appropriate, with any on-site requirement agreed as part of the project scope.
